​The Civil Surgeon of Chittagong, Dr. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, made a sudden visit to Mirsharai to physically inspect the regular EPI (Expanded Programme on Immunization) activities and the overall quality of healthcare services.
​On Sunday, he visited various vaccination centers and healthcare facilities across Mirsharai upazila. During the inspection, he closely monitored the ongoing child vaccination process and spoke with the citizens present at the centers to gather feedback on the healthcare services being provided.
​The Civil Surgeon emphasized the successful implementation of the immunization program at the grassroots level and directed the concerned officials to ensure that no child is left behind. He also urged field-level health workers to perform their duties with dedication to maintain the standard of rural healthcare.
​Local Health Assistant Md. Ziaul Haque Khan and Health Assistant Rina Rani Nath were present during the Civil Surgeon’s visit.
​The health workers present expressed that this sudden inspection by the Civil Surgeon would boost the momentum and enthusiasm of field-level operations. They reiterated their commitment to put forth their best efforts to bring 100% of children under the vaccination coverage
