The 2026-2027 fiscal year open budget of the Tentulia Sadar Union Parishad in Panchagarh has been announced.
Union Parishad Chairman Masud Karim Siddiqui announced a budget of Tk 1 crore 97 lakh 79 thousand 519 at the Union Parishad premises on Tuesday (June 30) afternoon. Administrative Officer Harun Or Rashid conducted the budget announcement ceremony.
MP representative Tajuddin Ahmed, prominent businessman Saidur Rahman Bablu, Jahangir Alam, Saidur Rahman Babul, Fazlul Karim, Union Jamaat Secretary General Joynal Abedin, Ashiq Iqbal, Afzal Hossain, along with teachers, journalists, civil servants and various individuals were present at the meeting.
Speakers at the event highlighted various problems in the Union Parishad’s citizen services and called for an increase in citizen services through this budget.
At this time, when the general citizens who participated in the budget asked what kind of service expectations they had, the UP Chairman answered those questions and said that citizen services would be expedited.
The open budget of the Sadar Union Parishad in Tentulia for the fiscal year 2026-2027 has been announced with the aim of ensuring transparency, public involvement, accountability and sustainable development of local government through public participation at the grassroots level. I hope that the general public will get a clear idea about the budget and increase awareness in the revenue sector of union services.
