Manjeet Cotton Pvt. Ltd., a well-known name in the cotton supply sector of Bangladesh, has announced the formal expansion of its yarn business in the Bangladesh market.

The announcement was made by the company’s Joint Managing Director Sanchit Rajpal while participating in the 16th Intex Bangladesh Expo 2026 held recently at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital Dhaka. The company’s Vice President (Marketing and Admin) Ashok Sahal was present at the time.

Expressing his excitement over the response received at the expo on Saturday, June 20, the closing day of the fair, Sanchit Rajpal said, “It is going very well. This is our first year participating in this expo and we have received a wonderful response. There is a large crowd here and there is a lot of enthusiasm among the buyers. So we are very happy.”

Regarding the company’s position in Bangladesh and new business plans, he said, “Manjit Cotton is a well-known name in cotton supply in Bangladesh. We have many excellent customers in Bangladesh, to whom we sell Indian cotton. This is one of the largest and most important markets for us. So it is always a pleasure to be back in Bangladesh. It is also an important market for India in terms of the textile sector. We already have a strong position here. We sell a lot of cotton and now we are also entering the yarn business. So we are very interested in selling yarn in Bangladesh as well.”

Praising the reputation of Bangladesh’s ready-made garments and textile sector in the global market, he further said,
“Bangladesh is a very important market in the entire textile world. Bangladesh’s textile products are well-known worldwide for their quality. The reputation that Bangladesh’s textile industry has earned is truly extraordinary. When it comes to cotton and textile sectors, Bangladesh’s ready-made garments industry is doing very well. So this market is very important for us.”

He said, “Bangladesh is not just a market for us, but a long-term business partner. The continuous growth of the textile and garment industry here is encouraging us to invest in new investments and expand our business.”

Manjit Cotton Private Limited has been working as one of the main raw material suppliers to the textile industry in Bangladesh for a long time. The company believes that the new expansion in the yarn business will further accelerate the textile sector in Bangladesh and will play an important role in strengthening Bangladesh-India trade relations.

It is worth noting that more than a hundred textile, yarn, cotton and garment-related companies from Bangladesh and various countries around the world are participating in the 16th Intex Bangladesh Expo 2026. This international event is playing an important role in creating new business opportunities among domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and advancing the industrial sector.
