​Mirsharai Correspondent : The biennial conference of the Mirsharai Upazila Krishak Dal, under the Chittagong North District, is underway amidst massive enthusiasm and a festive atmosphere. Centering the conference, a wave of excitement has swept through the party activists across all 16 unions of the upazila. The entire conference venue is adorned with vibrant banners, posters, and festoons.
​The first session of the conference commenced on Saturday (June 13) at 10:00 AM with a discussion meeting, Quran Khani, and a prayer mahfil on the occasion of the 45th death anniversary of the martyred President Ziaur Rahman. The main proceedings and the voting phase began at 1:00 PM. A total of 910 voters are exercising their franchise in this election. To ensure that voters can cast their ballots smoothly, arrangements have been made for continuous voting across 8 booths.
​A Gathering of Central and Local Leaders
​The event features Lion Mohammad Aslam Chowdhury, Member of Parliament for the Chittagong-4 (Sitakunda) constituency, as the Chief Guest. Agriculturist Hasan Jafir Tuhin, President of the Central Krishak Dal, will deliver direction-giving remarks as the Chief Speaker. The conference was formally inaugurated by Shahidul Islam Khan Babul MP, General Secretary of the Central Krishak Dal.

Candidates were seen making last-minute door-to-door appeals to voters.
