Desk nesk: The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BYUST), Comilla organized a training workshop on “Role of Administrative Officers in Quality Assurance and Accreditation” on 9 June 2026 at the conference room of the university. The Honorable Vice Chancellor of the university, Brigadier General Md. Kamal Uddin Kamal, ndc, psc, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, the chief guest emphasized on achieving accreditation of all the programs of the university in the shortest possible time through the coordinated efforts of the teachers and officers. Dr. conducted the session as the resource person in the training workshop. Mohammad Syedur Rahman, Professor, Department of Chemistry and Director, IQAC, Comilla University. The program was moderated by Mr. Salma Parvin Suma, Associate Professor, Department of English and Additional Director, IQAC. The program was welcomed by Professor Dr. Md. Tahidur Rahman, Director, IQAC. The Honorable Treasurer, Registrar, and Director of Student Welfare of the university were present as special guests. All the officers of the university and members of the Self-Assessment Committee of various programs participated in the training. The role, responsibilities and to-do items of administrative officers in the quality assurance and accreditation process were discussed in detail in the workshop. It is hoped that the participants will effectively apply the knowledge and experience gained from the training in the quality improvement activities of the university.
