Joypurhat  in  BGB organizes freelancing training certificate distribution and discussion meeting

Milan Raihan,Joypurhat Correspondent  : On 10 June 26 Keeping in mind the theme “BGB for drug-free border and socio-economic development”, a discussion meeting on motivating the youth in freelancing and computer training and distribution of certificates among the trainees were held in Joypurhat.
This event was organized today, Wednesday (June 10) at noon at the Kariya BOP in the border area of Joypurhat with the overall cooperation and management of the Patnitala Battalion (14 BGB).
The ceremony was presided over by Lieutenant Colonel Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Commander of Patnitala Battalion (14 BGB), and Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner (Additional Secretary) Dr. A. N. M. Bazlur Rashid spoke as the chief guest.
BGB Rajshahi Sector Commander Colonel Syed Kamal Hossain, Rajshahi Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mohammad Shahjahan, Ansar and VDP Rajshahi Range Deputy Director General Shafiqul Islam, Joypurhat Deputy Commissioner Al Mamun Mia, Panchbibi Upazila Executive Officer were present as special guests in the meeting.
Kashpia Tasreen and others. At the ceremony, certificates were distributed among 105 educated unemployed youth from the border area who successfully completed the course from the “Border Freelancing and Computer Training Center” run under the Kariya and Bhutiapara BOPs.
In his speech as the chief guest, Divisional Commissioner Dr. A. N. M. Bazlur Rashid said, “Apart from protecting the country’s borders, BGB is transforming the youth into skilled human resources through this technology-based training, which is commendable.”
In addition to senior officials of the BGB, police, and district administration, local public representatives, dignitaries, and journalists from print and electronic media were present at the event.
