To make modern life easier and smarter, Walton, the country’s leading electrical and electronics brand, has launched 4 new models of smart washing machines with innovative and state-of-the-art features. This new lineup has added all the premium features like artificial intelligence (AI), inverter technology and washer-dryer combo.
The new models were unveiled at a grand event organized at the Walton corporate office in the capital on Tuesday (May 12). Abdullah-Al-Junayed, Chief Business Officer (CBO) of Walton Home and Kitchen Appliances, and popular actress Jaya Ahsan, brand ambassador of Walton Washing Machines and National Film Award-winning actress, were present as the chief guests at the event.
Each of the newly launched washing machines has been designed with different customer needs in mind:
Top-loading with AI features: The 8 and 9 kg capacity WWM-ATT80 and WWM-ATT90 models feature artificial intelligence. It automatically selects the right wash settings based on the type and weight of the fabric.
Stain Wash Front-loading: The 8 and 9 kg capacity AFB80 and WWM-AFB90 models feature a special stain wash feature to remove stubborn stains.
The 8 kg capacity WWM-AFD80 model has a steam wash feature that kills germs on clothes and keeps them crease-free.
Washer-Dryer Combo: For larger families, there is the 12 kg capacity WWM-AFC12 model, which will provide 100% convenience of washing and drying clothes at the same time.
Among the new models, the WWM-AFD80 and WWM-AFC12 models use powerful inverter and direct drive motors. This ensures energy savings and provides very quiet long-lasting performance. These machines, made in European standards and attractive designs, have touch-screen panels and rust-proof stainless steel drums.
At the event, Jaya Ahsan said, “Walton is constantly providing international quality technology to customers at affordable prices. Walton products are now being exported to more than 55 countries around the world, which is a matter of great pride for us.”
Zoheb Ahmed, CMO of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, said that these innovative models have been brought to the market considering the growing demand for smart homes. On the other hand, CBO
Abdullah-Al-Junayed said that they have given importance to washer-dryer and BLDC motor technology to provide fast and hassle-free laundry solutions.
It is worth noting that Walton’s own manufacturing plant in Chandra, Gazipur currently produces more than 30 models of washing machines, including front-load, top-load and semi-automatic.
