Former MP from Satkhira 4 constituency and senior member of BNP’s central committee Kazi Alauddin said that Jamaat-e-Islami is a dishonest party. Their words and actions do not match. At one time, they used to say that female leadership is forbidden. Now they say that they want to work with women. Their words and actions are hypocritical. The party lies for political gain. It sells tickets to heaven. However, Almighty Allah gave the certificate of heaven only to our beloved Prophet, the last Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him). No one else.
He said this as the chief guest at the biennial conference held at the Srifalkati Secondary School grounds in Shyamnagar, Satkhira at 5:30 pm on Wednesday (October 17).
The chief guest in his speech at the biennial conference organized by the Nationalist Shyamnagar Upazila Women’s Party also said that despite saying that women’s leadership is forbidden, Jamaat-e-Islam had asked BNP leader Begum Khaleda Zia for three women’s seats in the 1991 elections. However, in the 1996 elections, Jamaat-e-Islam had brought the Awami League to power by forming an alliance with the Awami League. If Jamaat had not done this at that time, the Awami League would have been in the same situation as the Muslim League.
Urging everyone to be vigilant about the Jamaat-e-Islami party, he also said that the hypocritical Jamaat, far from coming to power, will not be able to enter parliament even as a strong opposition party. And realizing this, they have indulged in a conspiracy to sabotage the upcoming national elections.
He said that the party formed by the great hero of the 1971 war of independence, Bir Uttam Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, has never compromised with injustice. After his martyrdom, his worthy successor Begum Khaleda Zia is also an uncompromising leader. He said that in the past 16 years, the dictator Sheikh Hasina has tortured millions of leaders and workers, including the country’s BNP leaders. She has sent them to prison. She has killed countless people.
The chief guest also said that the mastermind of the July 2024 movement was BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman. Under his guidance, BNP has been protesting in the field against the 16 years of oppression and torture of the previous fascist government. He called for BNP to win the next election.
The biannual conference organized by the Shyamnagar Upazila Women’s Party of the nationalist party BNP was presided over by Upazila President Nurjahan Parvin Jharna.
The special guests were former Shyamnagar Upazila BNP president Master Abdul Wahed, former organizing secretary of the district women’s party Saleka Haque Keya, BNP leaders Professor Ashiq Elahi Munna, Khan Abdus Sabur, Anwarul Haque, Abdullah Al Qayyum, and others.
The conference was inaugurated by Farida Akhter Beauty, president of Satkhira District Women’s Party.
