Desk news: The “Branch Managers Conference-2025” was held successfully at the Satkhira Regional Office of Agrani Bank PLC on Monday, August 25, 2025.
The chief guest of the event was Agrani Bank PLC. Mr. Md. Ikhtiar Uddin, General Manager and Circle Head of Khulna Circle, a renowned and experienced banker. Mr. Samar Kumar Roy, Deputy General Manager of Khulna Circle, was present as a special guest. The conference was presided over by Mr. Md. Jahangir Kabir, Assistant General Manager and Head of the Eligible Region of Agrani Bank PLC’s Satkhira Regional Office. In addition, all the managers of the Satkhira region of Agrani Bank participated in the conference.
The conference discussed in detail the targets and achievements of all branches in the Satkhira region in the sectors of deposits, loans and advances, non-interest income, foreign remittances, recovery of written-off loans, invoices, etc. Khulna Circle Head Mr. Md. Ikhtiar Uddin gave important discussions on various strategies for the development of customer service and expansion of modern digital banking facilities, including recovery of classified and written-off loans, collection of deposits, distribution of loans to prominent businessmen and new entrepreneurs. Along with achieving banking targets, the branch managers mentioned their respective action plans to improve the quality of customer service. The branch managers expressed their optimism that the activities of the branches will be dynamic under the overall supervision and important guidance of the Circle Head and the position of Agrani Bank in the Satkhira region will be further strengthened.
