Moulvibazar Correspondent: Six opponents of the Chana Miagongs have been accused of putting up signboards on land owned by others, claiming it to be their own. The incident took place in the South Tengra area of ​​Tengra Union No. 6 of Rajnagar Upazila. The victim, Parvez Ahmed Jaysur, and other victims said that they had a case with the neighboring Chana Miagongs in the learned court since 2008 over land. The learned court gave a verdict in favor of the Chana Miagongs, which got 104.5 percent of the land. However, after receiving the verdict, they forcibly occupied another 132 percent of the land outside the 104.5 percent of the land and cut down the trees planted there. In this incident, the victim, Parvez Ahmed Jaysur, filed a GD No. 1190, dated 25/06/2025, with the Rajnagar Police Station. After getting the truth of the incident, the Rajnagar Police Station filed a non-FIR No. 16/2025, dated 30/06/2025, against Jasim Mia, Selim Mia, Shahin Mia, and Chana Mia. The victim, Parvez Ahmed Jaysur, said, “We accept the verdict given by the learned court. But Chana Mia has forcibly occupied our land by going outside the land mentioned in the verdict.” We have approached the High Court against this verdict. When asked about this, the opponent Chana Mia and others denied all the allegations made against them and said, “There is no question of forcibly occupying the land outside the degree of the learned court.” The signboard has been installed within the land mentioned in the verdict.
