The 9th Debut and Charter Night of Rotary Club of Comilla Sunflower was held in Comilla with grand arrangements. Governor of Rotary District (3282) Rotarian Engineer Matiur Rahman was the chief guest on the occasion. On October 9, Monday, Nazrul Institute Comilla Central Auditorium, organized a discussion meeting, awarding crests, unveiling of magazines, children’s drawing competition and distribution of prizes, interesting cultural evening and dinner. The program was moderated by IPP Rotarian Professor Md. Shahidul Islam Majumdar. The special guests at the inauguration and charter night were former District Governor Principal Ataur Rahman Pir, Comilla Tax Zone Additional Tax Commissioner PP Samina Islam, PP Professor Nurur Rahman Khan, former District Secretary Rotarian Abu Ajmal Pathan, former District Secretary Rotarian Jalal Uddin. Bablu, PP Rotarian Rais Abdur Rab, PP Rotarian Nasirul Islam Majumder, PP Rotarian Abdur Rahim Jewel, PP Rotarian Kazi Saimul Haque and current president of the club Rotarian Dr. AKM Kamrul Ahsan Tanim and president of social organization Heritage Comilla Jahangir Alam Imrul among others. In the event sewing machines were distributed among the needy people in cash.
