Md.Kabir Hossain Bhola: The 7-day Ichal-e-Shwab Mahfil of Bhola’s historic Khankaye Bashiriya Batamara Darbar Sharif has begun.
This year’s 7-day Mahfil of this historic Khankaye Bashiriya Batamara Darbar Sharif will end with the final prayer on the morning of the 7th Agrahayan of November 22 at Khankaye Bashiriya Batamara Darbar Sharif in Boramanika Union of Borhanuddin Upazila. Especially in Bangladesh, Batamara Darbar Sharif of Bhola is one of the darbars of Haqqani Pir.
 Today is the 4th day of the Mahfil, on the spot, it is seen that like every year, many religiously inclined Muslims from different parts of the country have come here to please the Almighty Allah and to get salvation in the afterlife. Today, it is seen that half of the main field is filled with religiously inclined people. The Mahfil Committee, after talking to the Muslims present, learned that as the time of the final prayer approaches, the number of Muslims coming will continue to increase.
According to the Mahfil Committee, about 1 lakh Muslims gather in the final prayer. This is the largest annual Ichal-e-Shwab Halkay Zikir Mahfil of the island district of Bhola and a large gathering of religiously inclined Muslims. Free 2 meals are served to the Muslims present in the Mahfil by Batamara Darbar Sharif from the beginning to the last day of the final prayer Mahfil.
 Many shopkeepers from different parts of the country have set up their business stalls here around the mahfil. Numerous shops have been set up on the south, east, and west sides of the field. Starting from food items, garments, cosmetics, furniture, winter clothes, medicines, perfumes, antimony, and many daily necessities are available in these shops.
Again, special arrangements have been made to keep various vehicles safely on the empty space on the south side of the road for the convenience of the Muslims coming to the mahfil.
 The current head of Batamara Darbar Sharif, Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Md. Mahibuliyah (Daba), said, “About 70 years ago, with the permission of his father, Late Hazrat Maulana Md. Bashir Ullah (Rah), the late Pir of Sharshina, Late Maulana Md. Nesar Uddin (Rah), this Batamara Darbar Sharif Mahfil started with a few Muslims and since the death of his father, he has been serving this Darbar for 35 years. By the command of Almighty Allah, this Mahfil has spread so much in the country and abroad and after my death, Allah knows very well who will manage this religious work of his.
