3-day Land Service Week inaugurated in Moulvibazar

With the aim of providing land services at the doorsteps of the people, providing easy, transparent and digitalized land services and increasing citizen awareness, a 3-day (19-21 May-2026) Land Service Week has been inaugurated at the premises of the Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner’s Office. Today, Tuesday (19 May) morning, a colorful rally started from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, circled the road and ended in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. The fair was inaugurated by Moulvibazar Deputy Commissioner Touhiduzzaman Pavel. Among others present at the time were Moulvibazar Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Shahina Rahman, Additional District Magistrate Md. Mamunur Rashid, Additional Superintendent of Police Abul Khoyer, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Rajib Hossain, Moulvibazar Sadar Assistant Commissioner (Land) Lutfun Nahar Sharmin and various office officials, politicians and journalists were present. This land service fair will be held in every upazila of the district for three days. Other services during the land service week include – registration related activities on the service portal for online payment of land development tax, holding entry and approval and providing assistance in online payment of land development tax, accepting e-namjari applications, issuing land acquisition compensation checks, accepting applications for obtaining certified copies of Khatian online. In addition, immediate delivery, online Mouza map delivery through the postal department and direct answers to various queries related to land service will be provided. In addition to setting up service booths at the fair, other services will be provided.
