A three-day ‘Land Service Fair 2026’ has been inaugurated in Rajbari like the rest of the country to develop people-friendly and technology-based land management.
On this occasion, a rally was held at the Goalanda Upazila Parishad premises at 10:30 am on Tuesday (May 19) with the theme ‘People-friendly Automated Land Management: Protected Land, Prosperous Future’ to officially inaugurate the land fair. This arrangement has been made with the aim of providing easy, transparent and automated land services at the doorsteps of the people and increasing citizen awareness about land services.
Later, a seminar was held in the Upazila Parishad conference room. The seminar, chaired by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Muntasir Hasan Khan, was attended by Goalanda Upazila Executive Officer Sathi Das, Goalanda Ghat Police Station OC (Investigation) Rashedul Islam, Goalanda Upazila BNP President Md. Nizam Uddin Sek, former president Sultan Nur Islam Munnu Molla and others.
