Kamalganj Thana Police, Tourist Police and Fire Service and Civil Defense with the help of local people have safely rescued 10 tourists who were stuck in Hamham Falls adjacent to Rajkandi Reserve Forest in Kamalganj Upazila of Moulvibazar. This morning, a 10-member tourist group from Dhaka came to visit Hamham Falls. All of them are students of Dhaka International University. On the way to the waterfall, one of them slipped and injured his hand. Since it was not possible to return with the injured fellow traveler due to the inaccessible hilly path, they called the National Emergency Service 999 for help.
The Kamalganj Thana Tonglash came to know about the matter at 3:00 pm through the National Emergency Service (999). As soon as the news was received, a rapid rescue operation was carried out by Kamalganj Police Station, Tourist Police, Fire Service and Civil Defense and local people. At the end of the operation, 10 stranded tourists were safely rescued at 4:45 pm. After the rescue, the injured tourist was sent to the hospital for treatment. All the other rescued tourists are healthy.
