The Meteorological Office has asked the country’s seaports to display local warning signal number 3. Thursday (August 8) meteorologist. This information is given in a weather warning signed by Manowar Hossain.
According to the warning, deep convective clouds continue to form over North Bay of Bengal under the influence of active monsoon. Gusty and gale force winds may blow over North Bay of Bengal, coastal areas of Bangladesh and sea ports.
Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra sea ports have been asked to show local warning signal number three. Fishing boats and trawlers operating in North Bay of Bengal have been asked to approach the coast with caution until further notice.
