Unit Disaster Response Team Training held in Dinajpur by Red Crescent Society

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Dinajpur Unit, in collaboration with the National Headquarters, funded by the British Red Cross, held a 4-day Unit Disaster Response Team (UDRT) training at the conference room of Dinajpur Zilla Parishad from 18 to 21 August 2025.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) of Dinajpur District S. M Habibul Hasan was present as the chief guest of the training. DAD & ULO Ziaul Haque from Chittagong District Unit, two youth members of Dinajpur Unit and UDRT Training Facilitator Md. Mariam Akhter and Farid Uddin were present as the chief trainers in the training. Dinajpur Red Crescent Unit Unit Level Officer Fazlul Karim and Dinajpur Unit Deputy Youth Chief-1 Md. Mehedi Hasan provided overall support in organizing the training. Through the training, UDRT members were trained on all subjects including pre-disaster, disaster, and post-disaster activities, market assessment, PFA, ENA, PGI, CEA, water, sanitation, health, and code of conduct through 24 sessions and simulations.
