Two Bangladeshi nationals were injured in firing by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Dhajnagar Elala of Gopinathpur Union in Kasba Upazila of Brahmanbaria. The injured are Azam Ali Bhuiyan (55) son of deceased Noor Ali and Iqbal Bhuiyan (45) son of deceased Lokman Bhuiyan of Dhajnagar village.
BGB 60 battalion captain Lt. Colonel Ashiq Hasan Ullah confirmed the matter. He told reporters that in the morning the two men were herding cows near the Indian border in Dhajnagar village. At this time, suddenly BSF started firing at them. by throwing Locals rescued them and took them to Kasba Upazila Health Complex for treatment. Currently, they are both safe. The senior officer of BGB said that a flag meeting will be held with BSF on the matter.
