Livestock Service Week was celebrated in association with Livestock and Dairy Development Project at Trishal, Mymensingh, like all over the country with the motto “Livestock Reliant Country, Garbo Smart Bangladesh”.
The event was organized at Trishal Dukhumia Park on Thursday (April 18) in the afternoon organized by Upazila Animal Resources Department and Veterinary Hospital.
In the morning on the occasion of the day, the guests enjoyed the auspicious opening of the Nationwide Livestock Service Week and Exhibition by the Hon’ble Prime Minister which was broadcast live by BTV.
Later, Alhaj ABM Anishuzzaman MP inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon and flying pigeons.
Trishal Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jewel Ahmed spoke as the chief guest in the event, Honorable Member of National Parliament of Mymensingh-7 Trishal Constituency Alhaj ABM Anichuzzaman Anich.
Former MP, former General Secretary of Mymensingh District Awami League, Chairman of Trishal Upazila Parishad Alhaj Abdul Matin Sarkar spoke as special guests.
Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Nazneen Sultana gave the welcome speech.
Brave freedom fighter Abdul Mannan, President of Trishal Upazila Bangabandhu Parishad Shahidul Islam Swapan, President of Trishal Upazila Farmers League Mahbubul Alam, President of Jatiya Sramik League Trishal Upazila Branch Soel Mahmud Sumon spoke as invited guests.
