Mohammad Masud Majumder: A day-long training workshop on Enhancing Service Quality, Patient Care and Hospital Etiquette was held at Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) today, November 12, 2025, with the slogan ‘Enhancing Service Quality Patient Care and Hospital Etiquette’. 28 senior staff nurses of the university participated in this training workshop organized by the Human Resource Management Department of BMU. The chief guest of this important workshop was the Honorable Vice Chancellor of BMU, Professor Dr. Md. Shahinul Alam. He said that those involved in patient care, especially nurses, have to win the hearts of patients. The contribution of nurses in proper and improved health management is very important. The nursing desk of the hospital is a desk where patients or relatives of the patient can ask all the questions. No negative reactions can be shown from this desk. The main responsibility of nurses is to remove the dissatisfaction of the patient. A qualified and quality nurse is the wealth of the whole world. The whole world is open to her, regardless of race, religion, color. The dreams of Bangladeshi nurses need to be expanded. If they want, they can even do a PhD. We need to move forward with that goal. Bangladeshi nurses need to acquire such qualities and qualifications or prepare themselves that if they hear about Bangladeshi nurses, they no longer need to give interviews abroad. We need to achieve such a good reputation. Patient satisfaction, improved medical treatment, and the success of the public health system depend on the success and success of nurses.
