Tofazzal Ali family donated land to construct a rural electricity sub-station at Chhotulagaon in Barura, Comilla. On March 11th, at the home of Engineer Atiqur Rahman Saheb, Chotatulagaon, his younger brother Mohammad Tofazzal Ali handed over the deed of donation to the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board REB for local substation on behalf of the family, GM Maqbul Hossain along with Chandina. DGM of Barura REB Md. Jalaluddin and REB AGM Admin Humayun Kabir were present. Also present were the brave freedom fighters Abdul Karim, Aminul Islam Mintu, Charwar Hossain Bachchu and Dulal Mia. REB GM Maqbul Hossain said that by donating this land to REB, it will be easier to provide uninterrupted power supply to South Barura. And he expressed sincere thanks on behalf of REB to Mr. Tofazzal Ali. Notably, Mohammad Tofajjal Ali, last November, donated the land as per the requirement for the government project to provide local water supply in 5 km area. Which Barura Upazila MP Naschimul Alam Chowdhury Nazrul has already inaugurated.
