Those concerned should play role of servants: State Minister for Land

State Minister for Land Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin MP inspected the Bhumi Bhaban located at Satrasta in Dhaka this morning. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Land ASM Saleh Ahmed was present with him during the inspection. In addition, Director General of the Department of Land Records and Survey (Grade-1) Dr. Md. Mahmud Hasan, Additional Secretary (Development Division) of the Ministry of Land Md. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury and Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary) to the Honorable State Minister Md. Ashraful Islam were present during the inspection.

During the inspection, State Minister Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin MP visited the Bhumi Bhaban’s Bhumi Museum, Child Day Care Center, Social Media Monitoring Cell, Bhumi Seva Center and Bhumi Seva Call Center Room. At this time, he exchanged greetings with the concerned workers and inquired about their activities.

Addressing the officers and employees present, the State Minister said, those of you who are engaged in land management will be in the role of servants. You will always be dedicated to the cooperation of the common people, the real owners of the land.

The State Minister for Land further emphasized that field level officers must be more proactive to ensure efficient, transparent and people-friendly land services. Instructing to maintain the dynamics of work, he said, all types of work must be settled quickly. Procrastination is not desirable in any way in the field of public service. The State Minister instructed everyone to be aware of the presence of officers and employees in the office and to leave the office on time. He also emphasized the cleanliness of the office.
