Prime Minister Tarique Rahman received a courtesy call on Telenor Group President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Benedicte Schilbred Fasmer.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday morning.
The Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon made this known.
During the meeting, top officials of Telenor Group discussed their organization’s interest and ongoing activities in developing Bangladesh’s telecommunications sector and building digital infrastructure.
During this time, Telenor presented various issues related to their investment and future plans in Bangladesh to the Prime Minister.
Senior officials of the concerned ministries and members of the Telenor Group delegation were present in the meeting.
