Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed said that the people of Teesta were once in a lot of trouble. After voting by boat, they no longer have that problem. So once again we have to cooperate in the implementation of the Teesta Master Plan by voting on the boat brand.
He said these things while visiting the Govardhan Spur Dam of Aditmari Upazila of Lalmonirhat on Tuesday afternoon.
He said Ziaur Rahman tried hard to present himself as a freedom fighter. But that was rejected by the people of the country. At the same time, his wife Khaleda Zia cheated the people of the country after gaining power. Talk of development has done nothing. And Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has introduced the people of Bangladesh anew.
Regarding Teesta, the social welfare minister said that the dam is being constructed with an allocation of around Tk 49 crore. Due to this dam, the people of this region will be saved from erosion. Our request to the people of Teesta, they will bring Sheikh Hasina to power again by voting by boat like last day.
Earlier he visited Govardhan Spur Dam of Aditmari Upazila. At that time he was accompanied by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) G. And. Sarwar, Mahishkhocha UP Chairman Mosaddek Hossain Chowdhury along with various levels of Awami League leaders.
