Patuakhali Bauphale Kalishuri port area today Wednesday. A teacher named Abu Bakr Siddique (41) was hacked and seriously injured. The injured teacher was admitted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
Abu Bakr Siddique Kalishuri is the director and teacher of Howladar Computer Center. Resident of Kalishuri area, son of teacher Maulana Abdul Quader.
Talking to some local residents and eyewitnesses, it is known that for a long time Kalishuri port area. Mokles Sikdar with his elder brother Kalishuri Qoumi Madrasah Director. Mojibur Rahman’s dispute is coming. The Qawmi and Hafeji madrasas established by Maulana Mujibur Rahman were closed due to that dispute. In the Jame Masjid built by Maulana Mujibur Rahman in front of that house, people who had good relations with him (Mujibur) went to offer prayers, and Mokles Sikdar behaved disrespectfully. Recently retired madrasa teacher Md. Abdur Quader (65) and other members of his family were forbidden to pray in that mosque. Because Mujibur’s relationship with them is good. Even so, Abdur Kader’s two sons Al Mamun (35) and Abu Bakr Siddique (41) offered Fajr prayers in that mosque on Wednesday morning. They were returning home after praying. When they reached Pukurghat area near the mosque around five o’clock, the miscreants attacked Abu Bakr with sharp weapons. He was cut and seriously injured. Later local people rescued him and took him to Upazila Health Complex. Abu Bakkar was sent to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital with first aid as his condition was critical.
