The water level of all the rivers in Tangail district continues to rise. The water of three main rivers of the district including Yamuna is flowing above the danger level on Saturday. Locals said that the water of Jamuna River has started entering various villages of Kakua Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila, Hupapara of Bhuanapur Upazila and some surrounding villages since Saturday morning. If the water continues to rise, these villages will be flooded. Labani Ghosh of Hupapara village said, I wake up in the morning and see water. According to the District Water Development Board, in 24 hours, the water level of Jhenai river has increased by 8 cm at Jokarchar point to 59 cm, Brahmaputra-Jamuna river water has increased by 16 cm to Porabari point and 19 cm and Dhaleswari river water has increased by 10 cm to Elasin point to 6 cm. flowing over.
