A symbolic stand and strike was observed for the demand of intern allowance of diploma intern nurses and diploma intern midwives in Moulvibazar. During the strike in front of Moulvibazar Press Club today on October 5, the intern nurses and intern midwives started chanting slogans with 1-point one demand. I am not saying anything wrong, I am not giving up my claim. I want implementation, not assurance, I want to introduce intern allowance. Why are the authorities silent? I want an answer, I want an answer. I have only one demand, I want to start the intern allowance. I want the intern allowance, or I want the intern off. Irregularities in the health sector, do not accept it. Around hundred diploma intern nurses and diploma intern midwives including Tasnim Siddiqa, Mosa Khadija Khatun Bebi, Fahmida Akhtar Shubo, Sohanur Rahman, Sebina Akhtar among others were present during the strike. Intern nurses and diploma intern midwives said that the continuous program will continue until the implementation of the 1st phase. A more stringent program will be announced in the future.
