Saiful Islam Majumder is successful in mixed fruit cultivation in Barura, Comilla.In Ghoshpa village of Galimpur union of upazila Under the supervision of Majumdar Agro Farm and Nursery, many youths of the area have become interested in the cultivation of various fruits. As a result of which the problem of unemployment has been eliminated and the opportunity of self-employment has been created, many youths of the area have not been unemployed and employment has been created. At present, 5 workers earn a living by working regularly in this garden. Apart from their locality, people of different professions from far and wide are collecting the fruit of their choice at a low price to prevent their vitamins and various physical diseases including anemia. In this regard, Saiful Islam Majumdar said that Saiful Islam Majumdar has been successful in cultivating mixed fruits for the last 4 years with 250 century land barga. Among them, four gardens have been created and are seeing profits recently. It has different types of native and foreign fruit trees. Among them guava, dragon orange, malta, 12 masi, seedless lemon and other fruits. He said that he has made a profit of Tk 15 lakh by selling fruit tree seedlings and Tk 20 lakh for mixed fruits, totaling Tk 35 lakh. At present, the garden produces seedlings of almost all types of exotic fruit trees. In this regard, he also said that marketing of mixed fruits is sometimes difficult because first of all, because the communication system of the area is not developed, wholesale or retail traders or marketing sometimes have problems. Every year when the rainy season comes, the roads in the area are destroyed in mud. At that time, the fruits were spoiled because they could not supply different types of fruits to the general buyers and wholesale traders. In this regard, Upazila Agriculture Officer Md Zahidul Islam said that various suggestions and incentives have been given by the Upazila Agriculture Extension Department, as a result of its successful initiatives, the unemployment problem of the youth in the area will be eliminated, and the physical immunity of people of all professions will increase.
