Smart Bangladesh Students should receive quality education – Environment Minister

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Md. Shahab Uddin said that to build a smart Bangladesh as announced by the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, students must receive modern quality education. In order to benefit from the latest technology in all areas of life, one must be proficient in science education. For physical and mental development one should be involved in sports and cultural activities along with regular studies.

The Environment Minister said these things while addressing the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed building of North Goalbari Government Primary School of Juri Upazila of Moulvibazar on Saturday (March 4).

The Environment Minister also said that unprecedented development programs are being implemented in the country under the leadership of the honorable Prime Minister. Construction of modern buildings, scholarships, stipends, modern computer labs are being set up in educational institutions. Bangladesh Awami League under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina must be victorious in the next election to continue this trend of unprecedented development of the country.

Juri Upazila Parishad Chairman Bir Muktijoddha MA Moeed Farooq, Acting Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ratan Kumar Adhikari, Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Rinku Ranjan Dash and Acting Upazila Education Officer Mohammad Mohiuddin Bhuiyan and others were present at the inauguration ceremony.

Prior to this, the Environment Minister laid the foundation stone for the paving of the Kalajura-Samanbagh road (No. 7 Khasia Punji Link Road) in Baralekha Upazila of Moulvibazar and the West Goalbari road from Goalbari-FWC in Juri Upazila.
