Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Haque MP said that Sheikh Hasina has done hundreds of such development activities including Bangabandhu Satellite, Padma Bridge, Kornphuli Tunnel under Kornphuli River, nuclear reactor in Rooppur. BNP can’t bear seeing this. Sheikh Hasina made the development outline of Bangladesh while sitting in jail.
He said these things in a virtual chief guest speech at a function organized to celebrate the 77th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, organized by the Upazila Awami League at Kasba Upazila Parishad Auditorium in Brahmanbaria on Friday (September 29).
Meanwhile, Law Minister Anisul Haque MP said, once this country was called the country of the poor. This country used to be sneered at as a bottomless basket. Currently, the leader of the people, Sheikh Hasina, has brought Bangladesh to the seat of dignity. Bangladesh is now the rule model of development for the whole world.
The minister said that BNP-Jamaat had no plan to run the country. They had a plan to loot and destroy the Awami League. The Minister called on all the leaders to work together to win the boat in the next election by resisting their incendiary politics.
The law minister said, we got a country because Bangabandhu was born. If Bangabandhu’s daughters had not come to the country, they could have lived abroad with dignity. But the father’s blood flows in their veins. After the killing of Bangabandhu and his family in 1975, the situation in Bangladesh was not good. In a difficult situation, Sheikh Hasina returned to the country in 1981 and took the leadership of the Awami League and formed the government with the party in 1996 and later in 2008.
Upazila Awami League Senior Vice-President and Municipal Mayor Golam Haqqani presided over as the main speaker was Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Upazila Chairman Advocate Rashedul Kawsar Bhuiyan Jiban. Former Upazila Chairman Ruhul Amin Bhuia Bakul, former Municipal Mayor Emran Uddin Jewel, Zilla Parishad member Abdul Aziz, Upazila Vice Chairman Md. spoke as special guests. Monir Hossain, Upazila Chhatra League convener Afzal Hossain Khan Rimon and others. Birthday cake cutting and doa mahfil were held on the occasion.
