On  October 17 in the evening of Deora High School in Barura municipality, in a ceremony organized by the Awami League and its affiliates of Ward No. 8 and 9 of the municipality, Comilla-8 (Barura) Constituency candidate for the boat symbol of Bangladesh Awami League, Vice President of Comilla South District Awami League A. Z. M. Financed by Shafiuddin (Shamim), 1 auto rickshaw to 6 unemployed helpless men of 8th and 9th ward, 1 sewing machine to 6 helpless women, medical assistance to 7 sick patients, maternity allowance to 6 destitute women of childbearing age. , honors and gifts to 20 martyrs and senior Awami League leaders, financial assistance to 4 mosques and 2 temples.

It will alleviate the plight of destitute women in the livelihood of helpless and indigent men, health issues of maternity mothers and those who are unable to get treatment in the throes of extreme poverty who have extended humanitarian aid to such families as a unique and humanitarian initiative, the general public said in the rally.

A senior Awami League leader who came to the event said that Shamim Sahib is an honest, modest and clean politician, the initiative he has taken to give honors and gifts to senior leaders and appreciate us, there can be no greater recognition than this, my 50 years of politics have been beneficial today.  I couldn’t ask for anything more from my team.
In the speech of the chief guest A. Z. M. Shafiuddin (Shamim) said, as always, I am working to improve the quality of life of the local residents by prioritizing five basic issues- 1) reducing interdependence and creating skilled manpower, 2) reducing the health risks of pregnant mothers and unborn children, 3) treating the poor. Assistance 4) Construction and renovation of religious places of worship, 5) Appreciation of dedicated, selfless, devoted and senior leaders of the party. I feel relieved to be able to reach out to the people through this program today, to stand by those who are spending their days in various problems and to honor the senior and sacrificed leaders of the party.

In the meantime, grants have been distributed in total 12 unions including Aganagar, Payalgacha, Shilmuri (D), Khoshbas (W), Shakpur, Khoshbas (D), Adra, Jhalum, Chitda, Galimpur, Vauksar and Lakshipur and Ward No. 5 of Barura Municipality. He said that the work of awarding honors and organizing the party leaders and workers has been completed, the activities will continue in the remaining 3 unions of Barura upazila and other wards of the municipality. He said, making poor people self-reliant, eradicating poverty, reducing unemployment, developing skilled manpower and creating employment is one of the goals of me and SQ Foundation. To achieve this goal, my family has been conducting various support activities for the last 30 years. He also said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu last Mujibur Rahman brought independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh through the Great War of Liberation in 1971.

The standard of living of citizens has changed through education, health, per capita income, civic services and multifaceted social security programs. He said that the last 15 years were the greatest period of development of Bangladesh, the development that normally takes 45 years in the country’s infrastructure and socio-economic sector, we were able to do it in 15 years under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister, People’s Leader Sheikh Hasina. Today, Bangladesh has become the 32nd member of the World Atomic Club through the Ruppur 2,000 MW nuclear power plant. We have achieved self-sufficiency in electricity, revolutionized agriculture. The third terminal of Shahjalal International Airport with all international facilities and the Padma Rail Bridge were inaugurated last week. Our average life expectancy has increased by 72 years, by which we can say that our average life expectancy has increased due to improvements in food and medicine.
Our education rate has increased, our purchasing power has increased. This development is not tolerated by many people, they want to take Bangladesh backward, we cannot let it happen. So let’s all vote together to continue development and modernization under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and re-elect Bangabandhu’s leader Sheikh Hasina and her party. It is noted that Shafiuddin Shamim has been working for a long time personally and through his established SQ Foundation to improve the quality of life of people in Comilla South i.e. Barura through multifaceted support programs including food, education, medical treatment and housing. Moreover, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s multi-dimensional development activities, achievements and social security programs are widely highlighted among the marginalized masses through exhibitions.
