Munsi Abdur Rashid-Jamila Khatun Welfare Foundation organized scholarship awarding ceremony 2024 at Barura, Comilla.
On Saturday, February 10 at 10 a.m. Khoshbas Munsi Abdur Rashid- Jamila Khatun Welfare Foundation auditorium under the chairmanship of Golam Mostafa Ferdous, vice president of the foundation and academician, and expatriate biotechnologist from Sydney (Australia).
Under the overall management of Sultana Parveen, Barura Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Saiful Islam was present as the chief guest, Munshiganj Sirajdikhan Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuia was present as the chief guest, Khoshbas High School and College Acting Principal Md. Nurul Islam was the special guest. Poet and Journalist Mahfuz Jewel, General Secretary of the Foundation Gias Uddin Nipu.
Coordinator of the program and editor of Khoshbas Barta, Md. Yunus Khan, spoke at the event, brave freedom fighter Shamsul Haque, retired headmaster Rafiqul Islam Patwari, former teacher of Khoshbas High School and College Shamsul Abedin Mahtab,Assistant Professor of Jhlam High School and College and Barura Correspondent of Daily Zayzaidin Newspaper Mohammad Masud Majumder, Assistant Teacher of Rammohan Tamizia High School Md Ghiyas Uddin etc.
Scholarships, certificates and books were given to 15 meritorious students in three categories and 35 students in general category in each class from class VI to class 10.
