 The Saudi Arabian government has decided what kind of clothes women who are going to perform the holy Umrah in Mecca can wear.
 The Ministry of Umrah and Hajj of the country said on the social media X-A (formerly Twitter) that women will avoid decorative clothes and choose simple clothes for Umrah. Clothing should be loose. Clothing should be such that no part of the body is exposed after wearing.
 The ministry also said that women can wear any dress of their choice while performing Umrah. But it must be within the rules, clothing should be such that no part of the body is visible after wearing it.
 Umrah can be performed at any time except during the holy Hajj. However, more people come to perform Umrah at a certain time of the year. Which is called as Umrah season. Which starts immediately after Hajj.
 As such, the season of Umrah has already started this year. Meanwhile, the country’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has reminded that women who come for Umrah must wear modest and loose clothing.
 The Saudi government has been allowing Umrah since last year without a male guardian or ‘Mahram’. But in this case a condition has to be accepted. That is, women have to perform the holy Umrah as part of a group.
