Saudi Arabia has set the record straight by organizing the world’s largest iftar party. And this largest iftar party was organized in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country. Saudi Arabia set up a 1,200 meter long Iftar table for 8,000 fasting people in Padang, Sumatra, Indonesia.Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Islamic Affairs and Saudi diplomats posted in Jakarta were present at the Iftar party.
The largest iftar party in the world was attended by Mahildi Ansarullah, the governor of West Sumatra, Ahmed bin Hamji, the religious attaché of the Saudi Embassy, heads of various universities, leaders of Islamic organizations and leaders of various political parties in Indonesia.
