A rally and discussion meeting was held on the occasion of National Local Government Day 2024 at Galachipa on Monday, February 27, under the slogan “Local government will be smart and ensure right to services”.
Around 10:00 in the morning around the day, Upazila Chattar took out a colorful rally and circled the main road of Upazila Chattar. Later, the discussion meeting was held in Upazila Parishedar Auditorium hall room under the chairmanship of Local Government Engineering Directorate (LGED) Md. Jahangir Alam in the presence of Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Mohiuddin Al-Helal as the chief guest.
Upazila Aowamig President Haji Mojibur Rahman, General Secretary Sardar Md Shah Alam, Chairman of various Unions, Municipal Panel Mayor Sushil Chandra Biswas, School and Madrasah students, Galachipa Press Club President, Khalid Hossain Milton, Atkhali Secondary School Principal Sanit were present in the discussion.
