RAB-10 arrested 01 foreign currency smuggling gang from South Keraniganj Dhaka

On April 23, 2023 AD, a raiding team of RAB-10 conducted an operation in Abdullahpur area under Dakshin Keraniganj police station of Dhaka district and arrested 01 active members of foreign currency smuggling ring along with foreign currency of 15 different countries. The arrested person’s name is Hriday Hossain (28), Father- Azad Hossain, Sgt- Shubhadhya, Thana- Dakshin Keraniganj, District- Dhaka, present address- Sang- Kergaon, Thana- Dakshin Keraniganj, District- Dhaka. Preliminary inquiries revealed that the arrested person is an active member of a foreign currency smuggling ring. He had been illegally collecting foreign currency of different countries for quite some time and fraudulently selling it to different people for the purpose of smuggling. A regular case has been filed against the arrested person in the concerned police station.
