He said this at a public meeting in Daripalla Bazar in Kaneshtala Bazar.
Kazi Deen Mohammad, the candidate for the eleven-party alliance nominated for the Comilla-6 (Adarsh Sadar, Comilla Metropolitan, Sadar South and Cantonment areas) constituency, held a public meeting with the symbol of Daripalla at Kaneshtala Bazar in Galiara South Union of Sadar South Upazila on Monday (January 26). A large number of people, including organizations, professionals and party leaders and activists, were present at the meeting, which began at 3 pm.
The meeting, chaired by Sramik Kalyan Sadar South Upazila President Md. Jahangir Alam, was chaired by the eleven-party alliance candidate Kazi Deen Mohammad. The special guests present were Metropolitan Secretary Maulana Mahbubur Rahman, former Ward 6 Councilor Principal Mosharraf Hossain, Comilla Metropolitan Secretary Nazmul Hasan Panchayat, former Chairman of South Union Md. Zahirul Islam, Upazila Secretary Maulana Omar Faruk, NCP District Joint Convener Al-Amin, Galiada North Union Ameer Md. Mizanur Rahman, South Union President Md. Azharul Islam Tanvir and Secretary Master Abul Hai.
At the meeting, Md. Mizanur Rahman said, “Those who nominated loan defaulters will not be able to give the country anything good except loan defaulters.”
Meanwhile, Md. Zahirul Islam said, “We must vote on the scale to build a society free from murder, assault, and torture.”
In his speech as the chief guest, Kazi Din Mohammad announced that if elected, the old Gumti River would be transformed into an aesthetic tourist area. He promised to raise both banks of the river to make the city safer and to launch road development and town services to make travel easier for the people of the eastern region.
He also said, “Insha Allah, we will ensure free medical services for those above 60 and below 5 years. The working hours of pregnant women will be reduced and their dignity will be ensured.”
Regarding the election, he said, “No one will be able to think of capturing any center. This election is an election to build the country. This time, no one will get the opportunity to play hide and seek with the election. The election will be peaceful like the Eid festival under the watch of the people.”
As a major initiative in the education sector, Kazi Din Mohammad also highlighted the plan to send students to the best universities in the world through interest-free loans.
