Organized by Moulvibazar District Livestock Department, a public awareness meeting was held in the hall room of Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital, Moulvibazar Sadar, under the PPR disease eradication and rabies control project, with the aim of implementing “Goat and Sheep PPR Vaccination”. Moulvibazar District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Abdus Chamad presided over and presented by Moulvibazar Sadar Livestock Extension Officer Dr. Jannatun Ferdowsi, Moulvibazar Veterinary Officer Dr. Md. A ZM Wahidul Alam, Additional District Livestock Officer Dr. Cynthia Kabir, Baralekha Upazila were present as special guests. Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Aminul Islam. Welcome speech was given by Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Shahinul Haque. Bakshi Iqbal Ahmad, editor and publisher of Dainik Banglar Din, AI technician Abdul Adud Rezbin spoke. Amoil Goat PG president Ruji Begum spoke among the farmers. Among the vaccinators, Ansar Uddin of Ekatuna Union and others spoke. Concluding speech District Livestock Officer Dr. Md. Abdus Chamad said – There is no alternative to public awareness. “Goat and Sheep PPR Vaccination” should be covered. Farmers, vaccinators and doctors are called upon to work with more responsibility.
