On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day in Barura, Comilla, a preparation and discussion meeting was held under the direction of Comilla South District Awami League Vice President A ZM Shafiuddin Shamim.
This preparatory meeting was held on the initiative of the Union Awami League and the organization in the Aganagar Degree College auditorium on August 13 Sunday afternoon.
Aganagar Union Awami League Leader Md. Rafiqul Islam Sardar presided over the preparation meeting, former Comilla South District Awami League member and Barura Municipal Mayor Md. Bahaduruzzaman, Barura Upazila Awami League former Joint General Secretary and Aganagar Union Parishad Chairman Mazharul Islam Mithu, Barura were present as guests. Former President of Upazila Awami Volunteer League and Chairman of Jhlam Union Parishad, Md. Nurul Islam, Vice Chairman of Barura Upazila Parishad, Kamrun Nahar Shikha, Former President of Barura Upazila Chhatra League, Farhad Hossain. Discussions were held on Bangabandhu’s life philosophy and work.
