A friendly football match between Bangladesh XI and India XI is going to be held at Comilla Stadium on October 27. In this friendly match organized by ‘Hello Superstars’, popular former and current footballers of both countries will participate in two teams. Former Indian national team captain Mehtab Hossain will lead the Indian XI in the friendly match. Players like Baichung Bhutia, Rahim Nabi will be in the team. Players like Mamunul Islam Mamun, Zahid Hasan Emily will play in the Bangladesh team.
Bangladesh Country Director of Hello Superstars Asif Akbar gave the information about the organization of this friendly match at a restaurant in Comilla on Wednesday afternoon. Comilla District Sports Association general secretary Nazmul Ahsan Rumen spoke at the press conference. Naveen Hussain, program head of ‘Hello Superstars’ app and officials were present.
Asif Akbar said that the chief guest in the friendly match will be the Member of Parliament of Comilla Sadar Constituency, Vir Mukti Joddha Haji AKM Bahauddin Bahar. Apuan Nur Sazanna Abdullah, a member of the Malaysian royal family and trustee of the ‘Hello Superstars’ app, Dato’ Indera Tudu Harunnarashed Putra, father-in-law of the Malaysian Father of the Nation and leader of the Global Football Camp, OITM Dato’ will be the special guests.
Also in the friendly match is Indian Honorable High Commissioner Prannoy Verma, Dhaka-20 Constituency. Member of Parliament Benazir Ahmed, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Habibur Rahman
Special guests are expected. Moreover, the Deputy Commissioner of Comilla Khandkar Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Superintendent of Police of Comilla Abdul Mannan is expected to be the special guest.
