On the occasion of the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja, 62 Puja celebrations and security discussions were held with the temple committee at the Chapai Nawabganj district headquarters on the initiative of Sadar Model Police Station.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Jahangir Alam was the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the safety of Autumn Durga Puja in the conference room of Sadar Model Police Station of Chapainawabganj District Police on Wednesday (September 27) morning.
The discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sajjad Hossain. Police Inspector of Sadar Model Police Station SM Makchudur Rahman, President of Bangladesh Puja Udjab Parishad Chapainawabganj District Branch Dablo Kumar Ghosh and General Secretary Mr. Dhananjay Chatterjee, General Secretary of Sadar Upazila Branch Tarun Saha, Municipal Branch President Apoorba Saha, Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad were present during the event. Dilip Roy, general secretary of the district branch, and Sanjay Ghosh, president of the municipal branch. Also present were the President and General Secretary of the 62 Puja Mandap Celebration Committee of Sadar Upazila.
In this regard, Chapainawabganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sajjad Hossain said that according to the instructions of the District Superintendent of Police, law and order and security measures will be ensured in each Puja Puja Mandap area. As always there will be three levels of security. He said that CCTV cameras will be installed in every puja mandap.
