Community Policing Day-2023 was held in Patuakhali through various programs including colorful rally, discussion meeting, cake cutting.
On Saturday (November 4) at 12:30 pm, Patuakhali District Police initiated a colorful rally from the Police Lines premises and went around the main main road and went to the District Children’s Academy and the rally ended.
At the end of the rally under the chairmanship of Superintendent of Police Md. Saidul Islam (PPM-BPM).
Former Chief Whip Asam Feroze MP was the chief guest in the discussion titled “Police-Janta Oikya Kari, Build Smart Bangladesh”. Deputy Commissioner Md. Noor Qutubul Alam, Zilla Parishad Chairman Adm. Md. Hafizur Rahman, General of District Awami League spoke as special guests. Secretary Veer Muktijoddha VP Abdul Mannan, Joint General Secretary Sadar Upazila Chairman Adm. Golam Sarwar, Mayor Mohiuddin Ahmed, District Community Policing Committee President Prof. Abdus Salam, General Secretary Auliapur UP Chairman Adm. Humayun Kabir. On behalf of the IGP, Veer was awarded the best policing member. Freedom fighter VP Abdul Mannan and best policing officer Mohipu police station SI Md Al Amin presented crest and certificate by chief guest and special guests.Later chief guest Asam Feroze MP cut cake on the occasion of community policing day. At the beginning of the program, colorful balloons with festoons are flown.
