In a special operation of Pangsha Model Police Station of Rajbari, police arrested one person with a single-bladed gun. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pangsha Model Police Station Swapan Kumar Majumder confirmed this information through a press conference around 2 pm today. Through the press conference, Swapan Kumar Majumdar said – Rajbari District Superintendent of Police GM Abul Kalam Azad under the overall direction of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pangsha Circle under the supervision of Md. Shaheen and SI Tariqul Islam along with officer force on Wednesday (July 3) night approx. Around 3:05 minutes under Pangsha Thana, Kalimahar Purbapara. Monirul Islam (60), a member of the terrorist emperor’s army who escaped to India by raiding the residence of his father Ahmed Ali. Eamon Mondal (19) was arrested. Later, during the extensive interrogation of the accused Iman, who was arrested, he admitted that he was in possession of three illegal weapons of the Emperor’s forces. Those weapons are hidden in the grass at the west corner of his residence. Later at 3:25 PM. Police recovered 3 domestically made single-barreled guns from a marketed plastic bag of the accused Imon from inside the grass at the western corner of the pond of Nashir Uddin Mandal. A case has been filed against the accused in the police station. Later, the arrested accused was sent to Rajbari court on Wednesday.
