Hefajat Islam Central Secretary General Maulana Md. Sajidul Islam said, ‘The worst enemy of Muslims is the Jews. They are the cause of unrest in the whole world. Israel has been brutally oppressing innocent Palestinian Muslims for 70-80 years. Palestinian Muslims launched a war of liberation to protect Al-Aqsa. Israel will flee from Palestine as the Russians fled from Afghanistan.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the organized rally and protest march held on Thursday in Brahmanbaria on behalf of the freedom-seeking people of Palestine against the aggression of the occupying Israel. Hefazete Islam Bangladesh Brahmanbaria district branch conducted this program.
The protest march started from Jamia Younisia Islamia Madrasa and ended in front of the Press Club. Later at 12 noon, Jamia Yunusia Principal Mufti Mubarak Ullah presided over the solidarity rally held in front of the press club. Madrasa students along with scholars participated in it.
