Md. Milan Raihan,Joypurhat Correspondent: Today 26 July 2025 A ceremony to read the oath to build a society of awakening was held with millions of voices in July’s full awakening. It was held at 9 am on Saturday at the auditorium of the city’s District Shilpakala Academy.
At the time, Deputy Commissioner Afroza Akhter Chowdhury presided over the event, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Sabur Ali, Additional Superintendent of Police Jinnat Al Mamun, District BNP Convener Golzar Hossain, NCP Joint Coordinator Omar Ali Babu, District Women’s Affairs Officer Liner Nahar, Joypurhat General Hospital Superintendent Sardar Rashed Mubarak, student representative of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Zisan Ahmed, government and private officials of the district and students of various educational institutions delivered speeches.
During this time, the Ministry of Social Welfare virtually and local invited guests highlighted the various significance of July Purna Jagran and social formation and recited the oath. In the second phase of the program, an awareness-raising stage play against corruption was held.
