Young social worker and second-generation freedom fighter, Md. Abu Jubayer, stated, “In the past, during the reign of autocracy, we saw how corruption, irregularities, and instability in the judiciary held our country back. The entire nation was exploited and held hostage. However, we do not seek revenge; rather, we want to bring change. Political leaders should learn from this student and public uprising that this new generation has not tolerated any tyranny and will not tolerate it in the future.
This change cannot be confined to words alone; it must be implemented at every level of administration. Various steps are already being taken to address corruption, unreasonable regulations, and judicial reforms. These initiatives aim to transform our current system and create a prosperous, peaceful, and new Bangladesh.
We believe that this change will provide the people of the country with a new perspective. Together, we will move forward where every person will have the right to justice, equality, and good governance.
It is hoped that Bangladesh’s future will be even brighter. This commitment to bringing change will transform us into a stronger, more dignified, and developed nation. By joining in this effort of patriots, we will build a new Bangladesh together, InshaAllah.
At the same time, he urged the younger generation and the people of the country to remain vigilant at all times, saying, ‘We must always keep a close watch to ensure that no evil force can question or take away our independence.'”
