The National Identity Card (NID) service will be closed from September 19 morning to September 20 at 2 pm for server maintenance. The NID authorities informed this information in a notice on Tuesday.
It said that the server is undergoing maintenance. As a result, all services related to NID will be closed on Wednesday (September 20) till 2 pm. The authorities expressed sincere regret for the temporary inconvenience.
Muhammad Ashraf Hossain, system manager of the NID division of the Election Commission said, “The server of the NID service is closed for maintenance. It will be closed all day on Tuesday but will open on Wednesday morning. ‘
Earlier, NID’s servers were shut down for about 38 hours from 12:00 PM on August 14 to prevent cyber attacks.
