Shah Al-Amin Amanat: A newcomer reception and cultural program was held in a joyful atmosphere at Mofiz Uddin Girls High School in Debidwar. The program was organized on the morning of January 27 (Tuesday) under the chairmanship of the school’s headmaster Md. Mojibur Rahman and was attended by Debidwar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Rakibul Islam as the chief guest.
Debidwar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Mainuddin, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Faisal Uddin were present as special guests at the program. Former headmistress of the school Rasheda Khatun, teacher Al Imam, journalist ABM Atiqur Rahman Bashar, teachers of the school and dignitaries were also present as guests of honor at the event. In his speech as the chief guest, UNO Mohammad Rakibul Islam said, “The combined role of the educational institution, family and society is very important in developing students with good education. If priority is given to the education of girls in particular, the society will be more enlightened.” He urged the students to focus on moral education and co-curricular activities in addition to regular studies. The new students were welcomed with flowers at the event. Along with this, a pleasant cultural program was presented with the participation of the students, which impressed the audience present. Later, an award distribution ceremony was held with the students who achieved outstanding results and their guardians. As an exceptional initiative, honors and prizes were given to the mothers of the students who achieved good results, which garnered special praise at the event. Monirul Islam, as the guardian representative, spoke at the event and expressed satisfaction with the school’s educational programs and expressed gratitude to the teachers. The entire event was conducted in a festive atmosphere and in an orderly manner.
