International Standard University (ISU) held a discussion meeting and doa mahfil on the occasion of the 48th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib, the greatest Bengali father of all time. ISU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Under the chairmanship of Abdul Awal Khan, ISU Board of Trustees Chairman Engineer A, K, M, Musharraf Hussain was present as the chief guest.

Engineer A, K, M, Musharraf Hussain said, without compromising with Pakistanis for a map and independent territory, he dreamed of making the country independent and prosperous by enduring torture and oppression. Bangabandhu risked his life and fought to give an independent country. After fulfilling the dream of independent Bangladesh, when he started to work for prosperity, domestic and international conspiracies stopped the great hero of history. August 15, 1975 was composed by the murderers of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the most scandalous day in history. ISU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Awal Khan said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the best Bengali of a thousand years, is a world leader. From the 1969 uprising to the 1971 war of independence, only in this three-year period, he defeated two or two military junta with the power of the unarmed people and secured himself as the nation’s independence.

It is impossible to find a second example in the history of the world than the example he set by being elevated to the seat of the Father. He also highlighted the importance of more research on Bangabandhu. Acting Treasurer H, T, M, Quader Newaz, Associate Professor of Business Administration Department Mohammad Ali, Registrar Md. Lutfar Rahman along with Chairpersons of various departments, teachers, students and administrative officers-employees were also present. At the end of the discussion, prayers and prayers were offered to the family members of the Bangabandhu family who were martyred on August 15, 1975, including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnessa Mujib.
