The complaint and appeal filed were found in the complaint and appeal filed by the Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner’s Office on Saturday (January 17th) afternoon.
Confirming the authenticity of the appeal, Dr. Md Ataur Rahman said the results declared in the interest of transparency of fairness and evaluation need to be reconsidered. As a result, in the past, the institution has been recognized as the best institution on the Mymensingh Board in the results of the HSC exam. But on the occasion of National Education Week-2026, the selection process of the best institution head (college) at the Mymensingh divisional level was not evaluated according to the relevant indicators and criteria. Even a result of the signature of the judge has been spread through social media without publishing the results of the divisional level on the website of the Mymensingh Divisional Secondary and Higher Education Department. In such a situation, I draw the attention of the authorities to ensure justice to take necessary measures to complete the result.
However, Professor AKM Alif Ullah Ahsan, director of Mymensingh Division’s secondary and higher education department, denied the allegations of irregularities and bias in the declared results. He said the best selection has been made at the divisional level after the main selection of six of the best institutions from six districts of Mymensingh region. In this, the principal of Netrokona Government College, Abu Taher has been selected as the best considering various considerations, including educational qualifications, the honors-master’s activities of the institution, the number of students and the risk of discipline. The KB College also took second place. This assessment has been completed in the appropriate process.
Meanwhile, Mymensingh Divisional Commissioner Ms. Farah Shammi’s statement was not known even after contacting him several times to know about the appeal.
However, his personal assistant (official) Mostafa Abdullah Al Noor said the appeal has been sent to the official mail on the day of the government shutdown. It will be explained in detail later. There is no further comment on the application.
